northwest territory tents

I have camped for this years, first as a Girl Scout and then with an adult.
My husband had not never camped, alone in a Coleman tent. I took him out in the camping tents tent to a National Forest campground in the Shenendoah mountains, and it rained steady for a two week.
IN the middle room for our dining and played cards.
The screened porch was a perfect vestibule, and on sunny days it's a great place to relax, nap, read and escape from the bugs. The sleeping room is perfect for two adults and a queen-sized air bed. The middle room will comfortably sleep an entire family, or serve as the "living room", gear room, work room, etc.
It has a very high ceiling with a loop for hang a light. The over-cover and Coleman construction make this the driest tent I've ever experienced. After a two week of steady rain, not one seep, weep or drip.

1) This tent is VERY EASY to set up Coleman Instant tents. The external frame and tent never come apart, so you don't have a chance to lose anything. I have set the tent up on my own, but, frankly, it's easy to set up when you have the help of friend.


2) The first outing it rained, but we think good and dry (be sure to use a ground cloth or tarp under your tent). Thanks Coleman tents

3) There are plently of windows in the tent, and the tent can be divided into 2 rooms front and back.

4) The engineer of this tent is such that it is a able to give and sway a bit in the strong wind, and that's very nice.
6) The tent is made of good materials.

We just returned from camping in this coleman six person tent.
First time out of the box I think we had the thing set up in under two minutes.
I Loved the way to set up! I was really surprised that it comes down easy.
Fitting it back in the original bag took a few minutes.
However, I was surprised by a few things left off.
There were only 2 small roof vents.
If you camp in summer I think this tent would get very hot.
In my opinion the biggest mistake was there is no way to tie the windows open
. I think it is a little smaller than our last 6 person tent.
Also, the big windows would help to keep the tent cool for the summer camping.
We had only a very light rain one morning and stayed dry.

Bought this swiss gear dome tent, took it camping memorial weekend.
We fit nine people in a tent.
five Adults, two teenagers, and two smaller children.
We had two full air mattresses two twin air mattresses and three cots.
Very big roomy.
We even had thunderstorm, it not leaked in tents.
Air flows through very good. Can't wait to take camping again!!
